Bangkok Bistro in Burlington

This is a little place off the path. By far the best food. It is family owned and friendly service. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. I think it's better than anything else around. They treat you like family.

Really good food. And the owner was super friendly. And the Thai iced tea was fab!

The lunch specials are fabulous! To be honest, it's so big that it takes me two or three days to get through it all. I am a total spice wimp, and they take pity on me by producing a flavorful pad thai that doesn't burn my nose hairs off. Great food, great service, great prices. A hidden gem, indeed! Go there, get food, and eat it! :)

I've often visited their food tent during local street fairs, but now I finally made it to their restaurant!! Friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful presentation, delicious food! Fresh ingredients and well portioned plates. Definitely going to keep coming back!!

Another fantastic dining experience. I really need to remember to take photos. Lighter fare than many, with delicate flavors that never overpower. Fantastic service from a family operation. Cant give a stronger recommendation.

Wonderful little unique spot! Nice setting. Reminds me of casual eateries in Thailand. It’s always the “low key” looking places that serve awesome food. Authentic. Great portions and fair price! Would def come again!

We take our motorhome there to be serviced about twice a year. We get an appointment and they are prompt. Usually it's fixed while we wait unless it's something major. We appreciate their prices. We'll be back.

We love Thai food!!! Bangkok Bistro is amazing!!The food is legit and fresh and they always have a story to tell you while you eat. Go for the food and stay for the friendships.

I love this place and love the family feel of the owners. Food has been wonderful. However, there has been multiple times now that I have arrived for lunch, during their normal working hours, only to find the restaurant dark and closed. The last two times I've checked the hours before going and find them closed when I get there. I entertain clients for lunch and would like to bring people here but I can't rely on their hours...unfortunately.

Everyone here is always friendly! The food is delicious and the portions are enormous! Well worth the price ($10-$15 a plate give or take) one of my favorite Thai places in the area! They have a large selection ofenu choices and a killer Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee!

Super friendly people and delicious food across the board.Tom kha soup and spicy noodles were particularly fantastic. Plus, nice outdoor space!

I love this place. Why does it say small plates? The portions are very generous. Everywhere else serving thai food has higher prices imo, this is the best deal.

We ate there today and we're VERY impressed. Edward was so nice, helpful and cheerful! Food was DELICIOUS, we tried four different dishes and loved them all. Will definitely eat there again next time we are in town. Try them, you will not be disappointed!

Amazing food and tea and cozy environment

The interior is small, but the staff are friendly & the food comes out quick. It's a decent place to grab a quick bite of Thai food if you're in the area.

Wow, what a hidden little gem. The purple paint makes this otherwise common looking building stand out. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Have a question on how something is prepared, they will tell you. Want to know what ingredients are use and where....or when they were procured, yeah that can tell you that too. My lady and I looked over the menu for a bit and settled on the red curry. Glad I was hungry after seeing the size of the bowl placed before me. Perfect level of spice, fresh and full of flavor. I chased my meal with a light beer imported from Thailand to end the perfect meal. Can't wait to go back and explore more of menu!

Best Pad Thai ever!

My first visit was spectacular! I'm definitely going back for more. The Thom Yum was delicious, with a hint of heat and tasty lemongrass. The kepow was sweet, spicy and HUGE. Rivals my old favorite.

Great food and fast service!

My boyfriend and I decided to go here for our date night before going to see The Last Jedi, and this is now one of our favorite restaurants of ALL TIME! We miss all of the restaurant choices we had in the bigger cities, but thanks to Bangkok Bistro - we know just where to go for some amazing Thai food, and an awesome experience in general. We ordered separate dishes to split, and went home with enough leftovers to each have a full meal the next day! We both have big appetites, so this was pretty surprising. The food made fantastic leftovers as well. To top it all off - the customer service was phenomenal! We couldn't be happier with our experience. Thanks so much for the delicious food, and the friendly service!If you're in the area - give this place a try! You won't be disappointed!

The quality of food have gone down. I love to eat here with my family whenever we feel like craving for Thai food before, but tonight we we're sorely dissapointed. It makes me sad that I have to look for another Thai restaurant that doesn't taste like American food because this one is starting to move away from authenticity.

If you're looking for Thai food while in Skagit County, THIS IS IT as far as I'm concerned. EXCELLENT and FRESH food at a good price in a nice and quaint setting. Even if you are just looking for any place to eat, you should go here as I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

Love this place so much. My kids love it. The family that owns it is lovely. We went once and it was a busy weekend for them. I had ordered the seafood curry and they were out of shrimp. No big deal I can order different. Instead Edward got in his car to go to the nearest grocery store to buy shrimp for me. We hold several business meetings here. I love taking people here. It's great food and a cherished gem.

Who new such a awesome place to eat was hiding right in Burlington near where I would call home that easily earns 5 stars on any day. My first impression was "I have made a mistake" because it seems shady but I left Bangkok bistro full and Happy having had excellent service, superb quality, proper quantity, and true satisfacion. I will be back many more times to try everything .

Food too Americanized for me, might be great for you. The flavors were too sweet and the chili was too mild for me. However, I like Thai that is maybe 75 to 90 percent of the way to native heat levels and don't understand the North American penchant for substituting sweet for chili and fish sauce. The service was excellent if a bit overwhelmed by the lunch rush. My mom said it was the sweetest Pad Thai she'd ever tasted and I added a tablespoon of chilis and two of fish sauce to my veggie noodle dish. Did not try a curry.

Year: 2015-2018: Wonderful and friendly atmosphere, my hubby and I love the owners! They are friendly as can be and the love they put into the food, beyond spectacular! We will continue to support this small business owner.Recently started taking my two young boys here and tried tons of options across the menu, never been disappointed ONCE! Let me tell you folks, my boys are picky eaters and whine about selection... Not here. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors and cozy environment. I am truly humble to know this family and their kindness over the years, they are remarkable people.

Flavors are excellent and I enjoyed my Pad Woon Sen. Extra credit for having fresh whole Tai Chilis available. Spicy!My dish was too oily for my tastes, but the flavor and ingredients were great.

I come here and get the home cooked family treatment and I haven't been coming here for very long. It was welcome at first visit. Great food suggestions and traditional preparation by the family from the start. I've also learned that it isn't their fault the temperature is cold in the dining area because with the building being leased the landlord has to put forth the effort to invest in the building. So the fam seems to do the best that they can with what they have. If you've ever been to Thailand, you'd recognize that they do their best to take care of everyone who walks through their door. Enjoy!

I have never been disappointed with their food! The owners that are there are so appreciate and delightful to talk to. The food is the best of freshness and herbs aside from it being a Thai restaurant, because the spices are tasteful and they will ask you if you want it spicier, with a scale set for how you want it. Beautiful dishes for you to select and if your in a rush, call ahead for a pickup.

I not from here and looked on line for good Thai food and this place was rated very high . And when I got the food and returned to hotel. Started to eat and what do I find is long black hair . Not one but two ! Thanks for the reviews liars

I’ve had 2 different dishes from them and I can attest that this is the best Thai food I’ve had this far north. The fried rice was very flavorful without being overly greasy and their red curry was an explosion of flavor!! The chicken wasn’t dry At all. I’ll definitely be back
